Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato, who flew to New Delhi on a regular Air India flight from Kathmandu for treatment, has been admitted to the Medanta City Hospital in Gurgaon.According to Upendra Mahto, who is leader Mahato’s nephew and member of the party’s Central Committee, the doctors at Medanta have started providing treatment to the leader.Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato, who was injured in police action in Nepal-India border point in Biratnagar on December 26, was airlifted to New Delhi for further treatment on Friday as his condition did not improve, according to his party leaders.Mahato had sustained injuries on various parts of his body during a violent clash with police at the Jogbani-Biratnagar border point, and was admitted to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.Sadbhawana Party Co-Chairman Laxman Lal Karna told THT Online over phone from Birgunj some minutes before Mahato’s flight to New Delhi from Kathmandu that the party chairman would be taken to the Indian capital as his wounds did not get healed in these seven days.
