KATHMANDU: Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato, who is currently on India visit, said that the blockade imposed by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) in various districts of Tarai would not be lifted only with the “order” of India.Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Mahato said that there should be two provinces in Madhes from Jhapa to Kanchanpur, adding, the blockade will not be lifted until the issues of demarcation is settled.Saying that the major parties’ decision to form a parliamentary or political committee to resolve the issue of demarcation would not be acceptable to the Front at any cost, he claimed that the Constitution Amendment Bill tabled by the erstwhile Nepali Congress-led government was valueless.Stating that the leaders of Front had urged Indian leaders not to obstruct the meeting of Rajya Sabha, he claimed that India has expressed its solidarity to the ongoing protests in Tarai like every agitations in the past.“Madhes is attached to India. That is why India’s support to the ongoing agitation in Tarai is obvious,” Mahato said.“We will resolve the problem of Nepal by ourselves,” he further said.
