Nepal have participated in the festival that includes Paragliding, Paramotor, Ultralight and hot air balloon are collectively included in a programme. Participating pilots donned in the attires of Hindu deities Ganesh,Shiva, Parwati, Garud and Laxmi took off from Sarangkot and landed on Fewa bank later. The pilots will perform aerobatics tomorrow, said NAA Acting chairperson Sobit Baniya.Adviser as well as coordinator of the NAA Natasha Shrestha informed that the fiesta was organised with a view to promote the hard-hit tourism sector after the devastating April 25 earthquake. General Secretary Basanta Raj Dawadi of the NASA informed that the carnival would help to spread a message across the world about the improved condition of Nepal after the massive earthquake.Among 53 paragliding companies, only 45 are being operated in Lake City, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) informed.Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Kripasur Sherpa inaugurated the festival.
